Chapter History
The Fresno Chapter, NSDAR, was founded in Fresno, California, with 22 original members and became official on March 23, 1922. The organizing regent of Fresno Chapter, NSDAR, was Nellie Donaghy Osborne.
The Yosemite Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in Clovis, California, on September 25, 1969, with 26 members. The first regent was Helen Lee Haile Boles.
On December 8, 2007, these two chapters merged to become the Fresno-Yosemite Chapter, NSDAR. Fresno-Yosemite Chapter, NSDAR, has grown to be one of the largest chapters in California with more than 200 members.
